In this research we use Cattell’s questionnaire on sixteen personality factor(16PF),and survey the personality characteristics of mongolian adolescents in four districts in inner Mongolia to figure down the personality characteristic of Mongolian adolescents and to analyze differences of the personality characteristic. The result was displayed as follows:1. The main personality traits of Mongolian adolescents are: optimistic, stable emotion, modest, brave, strive, for liberty, criticism do not tied to reality perseverance, responsibility and have a strong automaticity.2. Mongolian adolescents personality traits in different sex and difference between town and country have remarkable difference in excitability factor, persistent factor, tonicity and suspiciousness factor. Boys behaving more relaxable and more exciting, feeling easy and more temperament. Girls behaving more seriousness, calm, uncommunicative. The main difference between town and country displayed in anxiety factor. Particularly:The mongolian adolescent from country are experience more anxiety and melancholy. Between different sex and different region there appears interaction effect.3. Mongolian adolescents personality traits displayed in different sex and different ages:in the age of11-12, Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the intellect factor and sensitivity factor, in the age of11-13Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the intellect factor, sensitivity factor and privateness factor. In the age of11-13Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the sensitivity factor and privateness factor. In the age of12-14Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the dominance factor and the sensitivity factor; And in the age of13-14Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the the sensitivity factor; from the result we can see:In the age of15-16Mongolian adolescent have remarkable different on the dominance factor, the perseverance factor and the suspiciousness factor. In the age of16and17, there are significant difference between the factor of the stability, the dominance and the suspiciousness. In the age of16and18, there are significant difference between the factor of the dominance. In the age of15and18, there are significant difference between the factor of the perseve-ranee. At last in the age of17and18δ there are remarkable difference between the factor of independence.4. As the results shows, junior school students in the district of TongLiao behaving more hazard, brave and few of concerns. By contrast, in the district of Xilinguole, Eerduosi and Hulunbeier, there are no remarkable difference. And, junior school students in the district of Xilinguole are behaving more fantasy and uninhibited. The senior high school students from Tongliao district are more emotionally stable and maturation. The senior high school students from Eerduosi and Xilinguole districts are more excited and susceptible. Among them boys are more stable than girls. In addition, The senior high school students from Xilinguole are more sensibility and persistent. And then, the senior high school students from Tongliao there are no remarkable difference. The senior high school students from Eerduosi and Hulunbeier district are more intellectual and reality, and girls are getting more score than boys. Finally, senior high school students from Tongliao are more fantastic than the others.
