This study investigates the role of emotional memory materials in SPTadvantage effect of action memory in the two experiments, and the processingmechanism of action and emotion. The experiment1adopted2(type of encoding:SPT vs VT)×3(material emotion: neutral vs positive vs negative)mixed experimental design, including type of encoding for group variables, emotional material for the within group variable, to examine under SPTcondition, the performance of emotional materials, and their interaction. Theresults show that the main effect of encoding condition and material emotionalityis significant, the interaction between the two was significant. This shows that inaction memory, emotion and action both play roles, there is also interactionbetween the two. Experiment2used2(type of encoding: SPT vs VT)×3(material emotionality: neutral vs negative vs positive)×3(backgroundemotionality: positive vs negative vs neutral) mixed experimental design. The type of encoding is between subject variable, the emotionality of theexperimental material is within subject variable, the emotionality of backgroundis within subject variable. Research on processing mechanism of the effect ofjoint action and emotion in action memory. The results of the study show that themain effect of encoding conditions, emotionality of material and emotionality ofbackground were all significant. The interaction of materials’ emotionality and the emotionality of background was significant,The interaction of the encodingconditions, materials’ emotionality and the emotionality of background was ofsignificance. This shows that the consistency of emotion and action providedaction memory processing information, It also means SPT can integrate all usefulinformation of environment.
