This paper is exposed our city public environment design in the public environment is weak, thespirit of place in flood, low level of public works of art design in the concept of ecologicalconsciousness weak problem based on the common characteristics, to installation art and environmentaldesign and combined with the advantage, for the above problem optimal solution. Study on the use ofinstallation art in the city public environment in order to solve the problem to some or improve thecurrent city public environment are exposed as the ultimate goal.According to one of the most simple primitive logic "whether can do--if we can--do it will be" astatement of the research contents.
