Study On The Rhetoric Shicheng Color Lantern

Lantern Festival is a traditional folk customs in Hakka area, and thecrystallization of lantern festival-Color Lantern, is a series of folk performing arts thelighting set, music, art, paper-cut, bamboo craft, wooden craft. Based on first-handinformation collection, from the perspective of rhetoric, the author explored languagefeatures of Shicheng Lantern lyrics. Color lantern is a traditional Hakka art that is amixture of the arts of the heritage of the Central Plains culture and localcharacteristics, therefore it is much significant of studying language features ofShicheng Lantern.This paper started to interpret its rhetorical features from the language elementsof Shicheng Lantern lyrics. Respectively, from the pronunciation, vocabulary,grammar, these three elements, the author studied the rhetoric characteristic ofShicheng Lantern lyrics,and parsed various application of Shicheng Lantern Rhetoric.Mainly from the material’s speech, the mood’s speech, the words’ speech, thechapters’ speech, analyzed how did these rhetorical features make ShichengLantern "add color".
