This study uses the main line which combines the packaging design underuniversal design and the concept of multi-sensory. The main research object isthe universal packaging design and application under the multi-sensory.Through a breakthrough point of how to make packaging design more generalby using the sensory, the problems existing in the current packaging designand the packaging demand of people, this study mainly analyzes how to usethe multi-sensory in the innovative research of universal packaging design, inorder to make much more reasonable and general design. This study includesthree parts of research, which are the widely indiscriminate audience groups,the sensory and the expression of universal packaging design undermulti-sensory. By researching different angles of applying multi-sensory touniversal packaging design, this study expounds how to design the packagingin order to realize the barrier-free information transformation of the packingdesign without making affects to people and the demand of special groups.Based on the concept of multi-sensory, the universal packaging designcan arouse the perception sense of consumers, and use sensory experiencecognition to complete diversified forms of information expression. It fully takesall consumers’ demand into account in order to make a packaging designsuitable for everyone. Using advanced theory and design methods both athome and abroad, this study provides a theoretical basis to enrich the form ofmodern forms in packing design, through the study on the universal packagingdesign under multi-sensory.
