Purpose: Firstly, we compare the different effects of material reward and spiritreward on the establishment of public cooperation rules in detail. Secondly, wecompare the different effects of second-party implementer and third-partyimplementer on the establishment of public cooperation rules in detail. Thirdly, westudy the interaction effect of different reward methods and different rewardimplementers on the establishment of public cooperation rules. Methods: This research adopted the subjects-between design of reward methodsin3levels(material reward; spirit reward; simultaneously implement material rewardand spirit reward) and group styles in2levels (second party; third party). There weresix treatment groups and one control group. In control group, the subjects onlyparticipated the standard public good games. Meanwhile, in six treatment groups, thesubjects would reward the subjects in public good games by3reward methods in thesecond stage.Results:(1)The cooperation level of3reward methods by second party issignificantly higher than the control group. The cooperation level of simultaneouslyimplement material reward and spirit reward is significantly higher than materialreward alone or spirit reward alone, meanwhile, the cooperation level of materialreward alone is the same as spirit reward alone.(2) The cooperation level of3rewardmethods by third party is also significantly higher than the control group. Thecooperation level of simultaneously implement material reward and spirit reward issignificantly higher than material reward alone, meanwhile, the cooperation level ofmaterial reward alone is significantly higher than spirit reward alone.(3)Whenrespectively implementing3reward methods, the cooperation level of the secondparty is significantly higher than the third party.(4)The reward level of simultaneously implement material reward and spirit reward by second party is the same as materialreward alone. But, the reward level of spirit reward alone is significantly lower thansimultaneously implement material reward and spirit reward and material rewardalone.(5) The reward level of simultaneously implement material reward and spiritreward by second party is significantly higher than spirit reward alone. Also, thereward level of spirit reward alone by second party is significantly higher thanmaterial reward alone.(6) When implementing material reward alone, the reward levelof the second party is significantly higher than the third party. Otherwise, whenimplementing two kinds of reward simultaneously and spirit reward alone, the rewardlevel of third party the is significantly higher than the second party.Conclusion:(1)The cooperation under the drive of reciprocity is the substantivecharacteristic of human society under the evolution process.(2)In the motivationprocess, material motivation for human is more sensitive than spirit motivation.(3) Inthe motivation process, material motivation and spirit motivation is complementaryand irreplaceable.(4) In the cooperation process, weak reciprocity is more frequentand effective than strong reciprocity.(5) The purpose of human’s cooperativebehaviors is not only to realize reciprocity, but also to meet needs in differenthierarchy.
