In the research field of selective trust, children usually show selective trust in teachers. In the face of information providers who are also teachers,do teachers' different rewards and attributions affect young children? The purpose of this study has three main points: one is to explore whether preschool children show selective trust in rewarded teachers and whether there are gender and grade differences;the second is to explore whether preschool children show selective trust in material reward teachers And whether there are gender and grade differences;the third is to explore whether preschool children show selective trust in the effort attribution teachers and whether there are gender and grade differences. In order to explore the above-mentioned problems, two studies were designed with a total of three experiments.Study 1 is mainly composed of two experiments to examine the influence of teacher rewards and their types on the selective trust of preschool children.Experiment 1a took preschool children as subjects, watched teacher videos with and without rewards in the familiarization phase, and then completed the task of naming novel objects. The results showed that pre-school children showed selective trust in rewarded teachers, and the degree of selective trust in rewarded teachers was higher among children in small classes than in middle class and big class children.Experiment 1b took preschool children as subjects, watched teacher videos of material rewards and praise during the familiarization phase, and then completed the task of naming novel objects. The results showed that the children in the big class showed selective trust in the material reward teachers in the questioning task, and the boys and girls in the middle class showed their selective trust in the material rewarding task.Study 2 has only one experiment to examine the influence of teacher attribution methods on preschool children's selective trust.Experiment 2 took preschool children as subjects, watched teacher videos of effort attribution and ability attribution in the familiarization phase, and then completed the task of naming novel objects. The results showed that the boys in the middle class and the children in the big class showed selective trust in the effort attribution teachers in the questioning task. This research has the following conclusions:(1)The rewarding behavior of teachers has an impact on the selective trust of preschool children.Preschool children trust teachers with rewards and there are grade differences.Children in small classes are most sensitive to teachers with rewards.(2)The teacher's material reward has an impact on all children in the big class in the questioning task, and has an impact on the middle class boys and the big class girls in the approval task.(3)The teacher's attribution did not affect preschool children, and none of the children showed selective trust in the attribution teacher.
