The city image study in literature has attracted increasing attention of domestic critics with the worldwide propagation of urban culture study. London, Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, the Fallen City Babylon, and the Holy City Jerusalem, all these city’s developmental trajectories had been recorded in literature as chronicle. Every city has certainly his own feature, the writer is effected more or less by the urban atmosphere which he lived in. Human build city, and the city effect the people intangible at the same time. Not only people have complicated relationship with different city, there are also a thousand cities in a thousand people’s eyes, such feelings on these cities had been recorded in literature. The "city" is a way of life, is a state of ideology, is the treasure of world, is the literature of every nation, is the universal topic of different literature, also the significant topic in literary creating. They give writers the material and inspiration of creating, and writers need describe new life with the new words and skill. The "city" changes the expression manner of writers like survival, experience, and sense, especially the literary language in the life. Human’s emotions and attitudes for the city can be reflected by the description in literature, it also reflects the relationship between human and the space which human build.City is the continual double construction between urban life and literary form, so we consider that every literary narration all contains a period of city history, or the development of literature is a new expression for city. This paper apply the theoretical research of city to the study of a special city-Jerusalem, and explain literary expression of contemporary Hebrew literature in Jerusalem. To show progress of construction for literary imagination by comparison between literature and history. The paper focus on the relationship between the performance of ecology and space in Jerusalem and symbolic meaning, relationship between physical structure and narrative structure in novel, and the psychological anxiety of characters in My Michael, A Pigeon and A Boy, Love life, these contemporary Israeli novels. The paper also describe the Jewish image and mental characteristics of Holy City in Israeli novels; Analyze their symbolism and relationship with the city of those literature geographical landscapes like stone, pigeon, dreaming, hospital, home etc.; Explore the dual images and dislocation of Jerusalem historical reality and literary reality in the age of value crash and moral turpitude; especially the current Israelis dilemma living condition caused by negative effects, the confusion experienced by Jewish, and the effort for value reconstruction.
