In the21st Century, with the development of Web2.0technology focusing on theshare of interactive information’s and decentralization of network, the humanisticfactors begin to be more and more prominent. It not only extends the mode oftransmission of traditional media in technological level, but also reshapes human beings’life style in cultural level. Currently, with the popularization of Web2.0technology, theyouth’s socialization model also begins to change: an increasing number of youth beginto get in touch with network since childhood, and their socialization model begin totransform from the traditional focus on family and school to the polycentric model withmedia as the main representative, from the traditional social environment based onpractical living space to the space with the integration and the convergence of both thenetwork platform representative of Web2.0technology and the reality. However, youthin puberty tend to fall into the conflicts of the “observing selfâ€(subjective self “Iâ€) andthe “observed selfâ€(objective self “meâ€) and so are involved in ethical dilemma, so thatthey become the trouble makers and victims of the network moral problems. Therefore, the society also begins to pay closer attention to the network’s influence on youth.Based on the definitions of the network environment under the era of Web2.0andthe characters of youth group, the possible moral problems of youth under the era ofWeb2.0can be mainly summarized as cognitive bias, network addition and networkviolence, which will pose negative influences to the youth’s cognition, emotion andwords and deeds. During the process of youth’s network participation, the networksubject shows features of instability, multiple-dimensions and decentralization. This willbring crisis for the youth as network subject, but also a significant chance for thereconstruction of youth’s morality.Second, the causes for the above youth’s moral problems under the era of Web2.0can be analyzed from perspectives of youth’s internal causes based on moral psychologyand external social influences from the macro society. As for the internal influence, thethesis discusses from three aspects of moral cognition, moral emotion and moral choiceunder the guidance of subject’s will. First of all, in moral cognition, network haschanged the traditional moral construction structure so as to cause the insufficiency anddistortion of subject’s moral cognition. Secondly, in moral emotion, as the moral emotion in the network cannot replace the genuine moral emotion, network will causethe ignorance of subject’s experiences in genuine moral emotion. Third, as the subjectsof the youth are not matured enough, so they often show an inconsistency betweenself-cognition and behavioral practices during the process of moral choice, which isknown as a deviation of knowing and doing? As a result, they cannot perform moralpractices effectively. Later on, as for the external social influences to the youth, a lackof humanistic care in the process of the popularization of mass media, moral anarchycaused by diverse social values and the change of youth’s socialization pattern under thetransition of family structure. The formation of subject’s personally needs a combinationof individual psychological functions and power of social cultures. Through theinteractions between the subject and social environments, the subject can internalize theexternal social norms into individual moral conceptions and qualities. Thus, several strategies should be proposed in dealing with youth’s network moralcrisis. First, schools should strengthen youth’s media literary education from aspects ofteaching materials, teaching forms and teaching goal, so as to develop the moralconsciousness of youth. Second, the media should guide youth to explore the true, thegood and the beautiful in network through humanistic care, so as to let youth to have theopportunities to reflect themselves and to realize self-transcendence of their ownsubjects. Third, in family, the elder shall hold a tolerant attitude towards the growth ofyouth, so as to realize the integration of the generation gap under the era ofpost-figurative culture. Forth, to realize the co-management of social departments toyouth. In summary, the moral consciousness under the guidance of socialist core valuesystem should be established during the process of ideological and moral education, soas to let youth to be competent enough in facing the modern society with theconvergence of network and reality independently, which is the key to youth’s networkmorality construction under the era of Web2.0. |
