"The inheritance of fishing boats" is my graduate work. It tells the story ofJinshanzui village, which is the last fishing village of Shanghai and is disappearing now.Shanghai is developed from a small fishing village. The "last" means a lot for it.In thismedia woks, the major clue consists of three people’s stories.Grandfather Jiang Pinyun isa wooden craftsman. His son, Jiang Haizhong, is a ship master. While JiangDansong,Jiang Haizhong’s son, doesn’t inherit his father’s business. By showing thechanges in their destiny and life, the documentary raveals the changes of an ancientfishing village, which is impacted by modern civilization. In this paper, the content is a comprehensive show about"Inheritance of fishingboats". I discribe it from five perspectives. The first part introduces the socialbackground of feature film’s development. The second part reviews the development offeature film. The third part introduces background, the significance and the generalframework. I analyze the significance from three aspects, the universality, specificity andinnovation. In Part IV,writer regard the documentary as an good example, whichcombines the practice and theory well, and then expound writing skills and myunderstanding of these techniques. The fifth part is my summary and reflection in thecreation of "Inheritance of fishing boats".
