A Study Of Laizhe (来着) And Its TCSL Strategy

This paper examines a Chinese oral lexeme Laizhe(来着).Chapter1is theintroduction. It shows the previous research on tense, aspect, grammaticalmeaning, syntactical circumstances and grammaticalization. The key points,difficulties and innovations are mentioned as well.In chapter2，having reviewed the Laizhe（来着）sentences，we believethat Laizhe(来着)is just in simplex past tense and without aspect meaning.Although王力(1985),张谊生(2000) put forward recent past time concept. Weconsider that is just a probability statistics about Laizhe（来着） in oralsentences. As for the semantic of Laizhe(来着)，based on宋文辉（2004）、刘林（2013）’s viewpoints，we selectively inherit them and put forward a newsemantic of Laizhe(来着).We consider Laizhe(来着)expresses that the speakerwants to make a subjective confirmation that some events or states whichthe speaker has experienced or known about.In Chapter3, by analyzing the relationship between Laizhe(来着) andthe predicate in Laizhe(来着),we found that they are not always in the samesemantic direction. Based on the point view of this article, there is noneed to classify Laizhe(来着) into two particles.In chapter4, as an oral word, Laizhe(来着) tends to present asubjectivisation phenomenon in Chinese wh-questions which expressesconcerns between acquaintance. We don’t agree with the viewpoint that张谊生（2000） put forward that Laizhe2（来着2）is derived from Laizhe1(来着1)，which is a progress of subjectivisation.In Chapter5, we focus on two Chinese translation versions of Gone WithWind，and try to study on the situation when Chinese speakers face to thesame express intention, whether both of them choose Laizhe(来着). The results countered the feature understanding of Laizhe2somehow.In Chapter6, we mainly pointed out the problems about the Laizhe(来着)sentence in the current TFSL teaching materials and proposed and make somerationalization proposals.
