Analysis Of The Creation Method With Chinese Ethnic Style Of Illustration

Chinese ethnic style illustration, an innovative art form which plays a significant role inimproving the Chinese illustrations, is the embodiment of Chinese culture and aestheticism.The study on the creation of this kind of illustrations is aimed to explore different approachesto express the Chinese folk style as well as to blossom its diversity.Based on the accessible information and the experience of art making, this paper deeplyanalyzes the relationship between the commercial aspect and artistry of the Chinese ethnicstyle illustration, and concludes some art making approaches. Those approaches are dividedinto and discussed within two groups: one that expresses the Chinese ethnic style "in form"and the other that does so "metaphysically". In short, this paper theoretically generalizes andsummarizes the art making approaches of Chinese ethnic style illustration and explains theirapplications in graphic design.
