Music comes from life and higher than life. Music is the most likely to arouseand mobilize human emotions and embodies the art of personal accomplishment.“Musicality” is the beauty of music, and it is the most touching and remarkable part ofmusic.“Musicality” training is a part of “Technical Courses”, it contains practical andtechnical elements instead of the theoretical knowledge itself. This research bases onthe educational practice of musical basic abilities training and takes “Musicality”training as an example to illustrate four angles, such as, definitions and interpretationsof musical basic training related terms, connotation and denotation as well as thepresentation and value in music practice of “Musicality”, the characteristics andpositions of “Musicality” training in the music education course, and the contents,methods, and processes of “Musicality” training, with analyzing a large number ofcomposition fragments. By doing this research, the author chooses the students inconservatories who are in music performance majors, and designs two musical basicabilities training courses for the purpose of training “Musicality”, and does aneducational and practical research on training “Musicality”, this dissertation is asummary of the author’s graduate study as a Music Education major (Music BasicTraining and Education).
