Practice Of Chinese Characteristics Socisalist Culture In Enshi Autonomous Prefecture

Ever since the reform and opening up, especially from CPC’s18th National Congress and the third and fourth Plenary Session of the18th CPC Central Committee, culture construction and culture development has increasingly become a buzzword that draws the attention of the whole society. And the notion that takes culture as an indispensably important productivity in the construction of Socialism with Chinese features, is accepted gradually by more and more people. Right now, we are facing the urgency of culture construction more than ever; we are embracing the greater development and more prosperity in cultural causes and enterprises more than ever; we are holding the unprecedented sense of historical duties from cultural confidence and consciousness, and we see a pleasing momentum of the development of culture that is healthy and sequential. Located in the Southwest mountainous area of Hubei Province, people in Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, as important members of the big family of the Chinese nation, has played their roles in participating in the construction of advanced Socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and have made their own efforts and contributions exploring the road of cultural construction for regional autonomy region which provided valuable experience for others. Therefore, it is important to analyze and comb through Tujia ethnic culture construction in Enshi autonomous prefecture in the contemporarily growing concern of building advanced culture and a powerful country of Socialist culture.Using the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as guidance, based on actual circumstances in Enshi Prefecture, after collecting a great deal of literature and conducting field researches, this paper deeply analyzed and elaborated the cultural resources of richness, the thoughts on cultural development and the main achievements they got on developing culture, which is vital to grasp the objective law of cultural development on the whole, and to achieve autonomy and prosperity, stability and order.This paper mainly focuses on the situation of Enshi Tujia cultural resources. It introduces the major achievements of cultural development in Enshi from aspeces such as the protection of cultural heritage, studies in ethnic culture, the development of Tujia’s food industry, rich and various folk culture activities. It analyzed the basic strategies and advanced experience in the development of the advanced culture of Tujia ethnic group from the masses demand-oriented strategy, the cultural industry chain-oriented strategy, culture-oriented strategy, and ethnicity featured culture oriented strategy, sustainable development strategies and other aspects.
