A Study On Syntax And Semantic Characteristics Of "Degree Adverbs+Auxiliary Verbs" In Modern Chinese

On the basis of forefathers’research results, according to the basic research theory "semantic grammar theory", following the research idea of combining form and meaning, describe and explain, static and dynamic, this article does a comprehensive and detailed study of the combination in modern Chinese:"degree adverb+auxiliary verb" in both syntactic and semantic aspects. Starting from the co-occurrence form of the combination "degree adverb+auxiliary verb" and taking it as the key link, this thesis pursues the syntax semantic expression in modern Chinese and strives to achieve a combination and communication of form and meaning. This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction, elaborating the purpose and meaning of this research, ending up a clear focus of the object of study and research scope, summarizing predecessor’s studies, describing the research methods and source corpus.In the second part, the selectional restriction between degree adverbs and auxiliary verbs is investigated and analysed. In addition, a sequence of two kinds of negative forms constituted by "degree adverb+auxiliary verb" and the negative word "not" is named "degree adverb+not+auxiliary verb" or "not+degree adverb+auxiliary verb". Some degree verbs can enter into two sequences, and other degree verbs can only enter into one sequence.In the third part, starting with syntactic collocation and syntactic function, the syntactic feature of "degree adverb+auxiliary verb" is investigated. First is syntactic collocation of "degree adverb+auxiliary verb", second is its syntactic function.In the fourth part, on the basis of the above syntactic description, the semantic feature of "degree adverb+auxiliary verb" is analysed. The first is the semantic point of the combination "degree adverb+auxiliary verb", including the forward refers、 backward refers and sentence refers; The second is the modality of "degree adverb+ auxiliary verb".The last part is the conclusion, the final summary description of this paper is done, and the deficiencies of this article and the problems for further study are pointed...
