With the popularization and development of the Internet, Internet addiction is becoming more prominent.Especially with the rapid growth of the online game market, the online game addiction also increased significantly which has become the "electronic heroin" to threat physical and mental health of teenagers.Teenagers may spend a whole day playing online games, even if they feel exhausted; also a large amount of money on game software and related products. Most gamers have difficulty in controlling the game time. Why do teenagers spend a lot of time playing the game ?However,so far, there has not been any experimental report to explain the mechanism behind. The behavioral characteristics that online game addicts continue to extend game time seems related to the change of time cognitive structure. However, existing research on this issue has been seldom discussed. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the traits of time cognitive structure of teenagers with online game addiction. Two experiments are quoted in this thesis. Online game addicts and non-addicts are selected at random in both experiments. The first experiment will quantify the time perception of adolescents and explore the effects of different visual cues on the time perception for online gaming addics. And the second experiment will use the people pictures as affective priming stimuli to explore the time perception under different emotional states for online gaming addics. The results as followed:(1) While exposed to the addiction clues, when the target duration is 12 s, 26 s,and 48 s respectively, the duration estimation value of addiction group was significantly shorter than that of non-addicted group; but there were no differences between the two groups while exposed to the neutral cues, when the target duration is12 s, 26 s, and 48 s respectively.(2) In the happy mood state, when the target duration is 12 s, 26 s, and 48 s respectively, the duration estimation value of addiction group was significantly longer than that of non-addicted group;while in the sad mood state, when the target duration is 12 s, 26 s, and 48 s respectively, the duration estimation value of addiction group was also significantly longer than that of non-addicted group. These results of the study indicate that there is a special time cognitive structureof teenagers with online game addiction.
