The main results of research studies on mate choice copying have focused on animal mate choice copying phenomenon, the phenomenon of human mate choice copying have not got much research. The way to study about mate choice copy of human primarily by comparing women-s evaluation for married and unmarried men as the effects of mate copied, and then copy the study of spouse. Existing research results mainly from the subjects themselves, to explore the effect of factors mate copying others and potential mates of the same sex three angles. There is no research from the other point of view to study the internal mechanism of mate choice copying. Under conditions of information about potential mates, whether an individual will reduce Mate choice copy? Information and potential mates are weighing whether to choose this trail affected spouse to the success of others? To explore these issues, this study make college students as subjects, through Eprime experimental procedures, evaluation of the attractiveness of the characters before and after the test, investigate mate copying effect; and adding information about potential mates, while the success and failures of others through another mate Mate video Start to explore the impact of information on the mate choice copy of this Stability. This study includes the following three experiments:The first one experiment used Eprime program to present targets photos,pretest posttest attractive effect values measured as mate choice copying effect,to investigate the relationship between characters for the next pair of lovers or friends condition, participants were changed to evaluate targets of different relation. The results show that in the relationship between targets and role models for the lover, subjects evaluated the attractiveness of the opposite sex. increased significantly. Under friendships condition, participants were to evaluate the attractiveness of the opposite sex did not change significantly.Subjects in both figures under the conditions of the relationship between changes in the evaluation targets significant difference, the difference between male and female mate choice copying are present, there is no gender differences in mate choice copying.The second experiment, the relevant information added to potential mates, including expanding professional, personality and interests three aspects of information,to investigate mate choice copying effect change. The results show that, in a potential mate related information, change the difference evaluation under lover relations and friendship. The attraction is not significant, there is no existence of mate choice copying.The third experiment, further through others mate successfully and others mate failed video start to explore the stability of information resources influence on mate choice copying. The results found that mating success and others others mate failure conditions, influence of information resources on mate choice copying effect is stable.Under two priming conditions,if there is a potential mate information resources, there will not be the existence of mate choice copying effect.Based on the above results, the existence of mate choice copying phenomena, and the men and women in mate choice copying effect does not exist gender difference; under information resources condition, there is no existence of mate choice copying effect; information resources are stable to influence mate choice copying effect,in others’ success and others-mate failure conditions, information resources is better than the selected this clue,individual assessment of targets in the two photos of lovers and friends matching conditions change was not significant.
