| A series of "abstract" works created in 1940s by Shen Congwen present the "obscurity" style which is different from the past. This paper tries to explore the manifestation of "obscurity" style from two aspects which are the subject content of remodeling "divinity" and narration structure of "composing with minds and things" in works in this period. Meanwhile, it investigates the reason that Shen Congwen walked to "obscurity" from the factors that the failure of "western Hunan" spiritual world he suffered and the influence of western literary thoughts when teaching in National Southwest Associated University in this period. Lastly, this paper puts the "obscurity" of his works into the range of aesthetic character and analyzes the modern connotation and construction process of "obscurity" to explore the aesthetic value and absence. Through the discussions of three aspects, it obtains a comprehensive understanding on creation transmission of Shen Congwen in 1940s. |
