According to the "Noticing Hypothesis" proposed by Schmidt and the "Output Hypothesis" proposed by Swain, this study was conducted with reference to a research on the design of Hakaoma. The purpose of the experiment is to study the role of output in promoting noticing, and the effect on subsequent learning. The experiment is as an ordinary writing task execution, the subjects were not told the experimental process and purpose. This experiment is divided into "writing-contrast-duplicating-duplicating again " of four stages. Students who have English background were chosen as the experimental object. We analysed the experimental data on the qualitative and quantitative way by the parallel research paradigm. The experimental results show that the output can indeed promote attention, have a positive effect on language learning. It is stated that the output can promote the form of the language, but our research shows that in the output of learner’s attention is always the priority of meaning. Most because learners noticed language project belongs to the vocabulary and discourse type, while the number of grammatical categories of projects relatively less. Learners have noticed problems in their interlanguage to writing stage, find out the way to solve part of the problem in the process of comparing with the model in, and put then into use of in the latter task. Besides, proficiency level did affect the performance of the subjects most.Based on our experimental results, we could yield important implications for language learning.
