A Study On Chine’s Image In The Newspapers Of The Kazakhstan Mainstream Media

This article analyzed China’s image in the media of Kazakhstan- the most important neighbor of China’s northwest border. Combining previous research methods and research results, from the perspective of linguistics, text adopts quantitative analysis, on the basis of establishing corpus database query, retrieval,classification, calls, worked out China’s image in a total of 15 months’ kazakhstan mainstream print media from China’s fifth generation of collective leadership took office to the first half of 2014.Through text analysis the paper released by the amount of coverage, the general trend, China’s political, economic and other image, understand the kazakh mainstream print media, the development situation of China’s image, its spotlight and future trend, etc. Through the construction of the "new silk road economic belt" "Chinese anti-corruption policy" ", the construction of the comprehensive strategic partnership " in the case of the thorough analysis to further portray the image of China in the newspaper of kazakhstan. Finally compare different sources and nature of the newspaper reports of marking and the methods of keyword extraction and word frequency statistics of high frequency words in the three newspapers.Text indicates that since the chairman Xi Jinping visited to Kazakhstan,Kazakhstan mainstream newspapers have paid significantly higher attention to China.Economy and politics are the two most popular topics, and most of them are positive and neutral reports. It is because China is the friendly neighbour of Kazakhstan,China is a comprehensive profile of the partners, the two countries strengthened the cooperation in various fields. But influenced by the western media, to kazakhstan,there are still questions on China’s political and economy. But "development" and "cooperation" are still the main melody between China and kazakhstan. And this make us recognize that the stand or fall of national image is not completely depends on the subjective intention and shaping the image of main countries efforts. National image is no longer an objective established or congenital reservation, needs to be as the matter of shape to the spread of the individual physical, neither the result of a self design, positioning and building, it was not born in the country’s own, but a product of social practice. As a result, China’s national image depends on China’s participation in the international community and the "behavior" in the process of its development.
