Due to the classical Chinese is different from the modern Chinese, The usage of the words in classical Chinese are much different from modern Chinese.Using of annotations can improve the accuracy of the classical Chinese reading efficiency.The development of modern information technology makes the classical Chinese reading materials under the network environment that design reasonably and conform to reading cognition possible.Some studies have shown that,in the second language learning,Use of annotation will help readers improve reading comprehension and incidental vocabulary acquisition.Such research is mostly about annotation language types, comments different media elements,there are few researches of Annotation position.Some studies have shown that the annotation plays an important role in foreign language reading comprehension, so whether the annotation of classical Chinese reading under the network environment has the same effect?If there were, whether the different Annotation position will have different effect ? This study attempted to investigated the effects of Annotation presentation on Classical Chinese reading in Network Environment.The first experiment is a 3Ă—2 between-subjects design,explored how different Annotation position to affect different text length(short,long) the influence of classical Chinese reading.The second experiment investigation comments on the margin of the page, below the target word annotation in both cases, the target word way to increase significantly(no increased significantly, red bold words of target), the target word on the influence of classical Chinese reading.Experimental results show that:(1) long and short writings in classical style if different Annotation position will have different effect on reading in short and long text.(2)In the process of long classical Chinese reading, the Annotation is more closer to the target vocabulary the results of reading is better.(3)The target word increase have Significant differences. The red bold words of target is More can increase the distribution of attention of the learners to the target word, more can promote the memorization of text information.
