Study On Gu Yan Wu's Books Collection

When the Qing Dynasty replaced the Ming Dynasty,Gu Yanwu stopped being an official,and he felt the reality of the demise of the Ming Dynasty,then he concentrated on the study of statecraftHe had written very rich,and the academic thought revealed by his works had a profound influence on scholars of the Qing Dynasty.Gu Yanwu could not write so many works without his library,and his collection of books has played an important role in his studies.There are four chapters in the main body.The first chapter is about the part of guyanwu's life experience that is closely related to his collection of books.This paper mainly discusses the influence on Gu Yanwu's collection idea from two aspects:the collection atmosphere in the south of the Yangtze River and the members of Gu Yanwu's family at that time,and studies the economic basis of Gu Yanwu's collection activities.In addition,he also combs out the friends who have the relationship of exchange and gift in Gu Yanwu's life and friendship;The second chapter introduces Gu Yanwu's book collection activities.First of all,it is clear that several sources of his book collection,inheriting family collection is the basis of his collection,and copying or hiring him to copy books on his behalf is the main way to enrich the collection,in addition,there are many ways to buy,carve books,accept gifts from friends,and so on.In addition,combined with Gu Yanwu's collection of books and the ideas in his works,this paper analyzes his collection ideas.Under the idea of practical learning,Gu Yanwu's book collection concept was also printed with the brand of the study of the classics.In addition to the book collection concept of being fond of practical study,guyanwu also advocated that books should be collected with the concept of broadening horizons,learning more,and collecting books should be used as a result.Finally,after Gu Yanwu's death,the whereabouts of his book collection were investigated.Except that some of the books were transferred to friends before his death,most of the books were taken away by Gu Yanwu's three nephew Xu Qianxue,Xu Yuanwen and Xu Bingyi,and a small part of them were obtained by Pan Lei,a few of them were collected by Gu Yanwu's three nephew Xu Qianxue,Xu Yuanwen and Xu Bingyi.The third chapter mainly investigates Gu Yanwu's utilization of his collection.On the basis of his rich collection of books,Gu Yanwu carried out collection,false identification,collation and compilation activities,and analyzed his collection methods and ideas through these activities.The fourth chapter analyzes the cultural implication of Gu Yanwu's collection of books.On the basis of Gu Yanwu's collection of books,and under the influence of these ideas,Gu Yanwu's collection of books in his whole life has its own characteristics.In addition,it discusses the significance of Gu Yanwu's collection of books from its cultural achievements and cultural influences.
