The Canadian writer of Alice Munro,she is famous for her short stories.She have created a total of 14 short stories, contains a total of more than one hundred short stories until the year of 2013. The works has always been a very high level and great influence in the world, that she received various awards, including three times prize of the Governor General of Canada,two prize giller prize, a heavyweight Nobel prize.Munro’s works are deeply rooted in real life, her experiences of reality is based on the life of Munro in the town, and the reality of the intense dialogue and aesthetic thinking on art, and formed a rich town in the world.This paper consists of four chapters, the first chapter is divided into domestic and foreign research present situation, the origin of Alice Munro introduction and the town of the world. The second chapter analyzes the cultural characteristics of Munro’s Town, in the middle of the city and the rural geographical representation of the town,Munro invented a unique imagination in Munro area. With the change of regional,small town people feel the town of geographical marginality, produce identity confusion in multiple different forces. The third chapter analyzes the experience and Enlightenment of small town people of the moment, the town people from ordinary life experience separated, constant pursuit of self, to find a way out, to grasp the true meaning of life in the escape and return. The fourth chapter analyzes the narrative techniques of Munro’s town in the world, through the words and precise tension,emotional calm about and still do not say with "ordinary surprise" three aspects to the world record of the town.By combining her observation towards reality and her own life experiences,Munro presents readers a multi-dimensional life appearance by use of her unique fine narration and acute observation. We can not only see the little Windham town under her pen, but also the whole world as well as various people,stories and emotional world in it.By use of the narrative techniques like the acute linguistic expression and calm narration under the fluctuating emotions, the author creates a enclosed but tensed world,connecting a lively and energetic town as well as the round and fresh destiny of the people in the town. The area constituted by the towns makes up an unique microworld, reflecting Munro’s deep feelings towards change of time and common life.
