Now cities are accelerating, the competition between each other are increasingly fierce. on the premise of guarantee a good economic development, the competition between cities are gradually extends to the city’s soft power competition, and began to focus on as the city’s soft power of the city’s image shape and ascend. City image promotion, increasingly attract the public attention to it. City image is the important elements of urban soft power, the mass media has a huge influence to the society today, the city’s image using mass media to shape the necessity of communication has a profound, hope that through the city’s image propaganda film show self-image,attract foreign investment and tourists, develop their own strengths, and strive to achieve a favorable position in the increasingly fierce competition in the city. Based on the design and animation city image promotion, a deeper understanding of the connotation of the city and culture, and use the profession to animate specialty, and create "Dragon blessed Legend Demo" displayed in Sui bin museums, allows More people know Sui bin,to learn more about the " The highest level of ethics is like water,which is beneficial for all things, without striving for fame and gain" as the connotation of the Long-men blessed culture, but also can promote the development of the local tourism economy.This article is divided into six chapters,firstly analysis the domestic and international situation of city image promotion and illustrates the concept of city image promotion and different style of it.Secondly analysis successful cases of city image promotion for each city,absorb experience of these image promotion the analysis of how they use their resources advantage,established a good image of the city.Finally analysis theme setting and expected values propaganda is an important means of city marking,so the economic cultural and aesthetic value in making city image promotion is indispensable.The city Sui bin as an example in this article create "Dragon blessed Legend Demo",from the perspective of animation production,through analysis the understanding of Sui bin city region characteristic,culture and other aspects.And integrated it into the design and manufacture in promotion.And it is designed to make "Dragon blessed Legend Demo" image film with photoshop.maya.AE.promiere and 2D.3D film post-production technology.This article will with the following design process to the production process design project for analysis: parsing of the "Dragon blessed Legend" program- to determine the promo text-writing script- coloring design- a shooting script- scene design- Interim animation production- "Blessed Dragon Legend" Post-production synthetic-background music for the video output- dubbing soundtrack- Modify finalized-complete.
