The study of directed forgetting effect has been passed more than half a century. After gradually mastered the mechanism, the focus of the cu TBR-Rent increasingly turned to the study of directed forgetting effect individual differences. The existing studies focus mainly on the directed forgetting effect differences in normal individuals and special on the individual, such as anxiety or depression, and schizophrenia patients. But in normal individuals, directed forgetting effect is also different. This study will use the index of cognitive flexibility to explore in the directed forgetting effect difference between normal individuals and their influence mechanism.Use words to forget legal research paradigm, with the aid of ERP research method, the experiment a selection of high and low different individual cognitive flexibility for the classic directional forgotten, is a 2(cognitive flexibility: high, low) x 2(instruction: memory, forget) mixed experimental design. Behavior data show that the high flexibility, low individual again in co TBR-Rect recognize memory performance of the project, there were no significant differences and individual recognized more flexibility for forgotten project; EEG data show that the two sets of electrical performance difference with situation update transformation and cognitive inhibition ability is closely related to the composition of P300, forgotten on the project is mainly embodied in the requirement, low flexibility on individual requirements in forgetting the P300 peak significantly greater than the high flexibility of the individual. Mechanism based on directional forgotten, this result may be due to the individual difference of cognitive inhibition, it is possible that will learn to forget project to test phase R(memory) or F(forget) situation update transformation. But the reason of the difference is due to cognitive inhibition or transform ability cannot treat as the same. So in experiment 2, we set the learning phase and stage vocabulary quizzes font changes conflict to further study the problem. In the test phase change material type has the conflict, with inconsistencies, two stages font is the same, is expressed by the consistency is 2(cognitive flexibility: high, low) x 2(instruction: memory, forgetting) x 2(consistency: consistent, inconsistent) mixed experimental design. Results show that the high group of P300 component on forgotten items disappear, but the monitor conflicts appear often form N2 components of advantage, and the difference is that in conflicts under the condition of the correct memory(TBR- R) of the project: high flexibility of the individual to be more negative than the low flexibility of individual N2, individual shows high flexibility has strong ability of monitoring to the cognitive conflict, this process is the essence of transformation.Studies have shown that directed forgetting effect there are also differences between normal individuals and create mechanisms for this difference with the update process context switching mechanism is more reasonable.
