This study on the basis of Yang and others study, by manipulating the intelligibility of masking sound factors and the degree of perceptual similarity of the target- masking sound factors, confirm the existence of two kinds of the sub-component and prove his point of view factors presented. This research is divided into two experiments, adopt perceived spatial separation and multiple voice experimental paradigm. 42 students were selected as subjects for experiment 1,Experiment 1 adopted a mixed design of four factors, 2 × 3 × 4 × 3.Experiment 1 by manipulating the intelligibility factors of the masking sound under the condition of invariable in the perceptual informational masking, examine recognition accuracy of subjects on target, then we can know the informational masking how to change. Further, it shows that the intelligibility is an important factor of cognitive informational masking16 students were selected as subjects for experiment 2, Experiment 2 adopted a within-subjects design of three factors, 2×10×4. Experiment 2 through the manipulation of the perceptual similarity factor of the target- masking sound under the condition of the invariable cognitive information masking, examine the change of the recognition accuracy of target then we can know the informational masking how to change. Further, it shows that the similarity is an important factor of the perceptual informational maskingThis study concluded that:Informational masking is a phenomenon which is multi-level and complex mechanism. There are at least two kinds of sub-component in the informational masking, those are cognitive informational masking and perceptual informational masking. The intelligibility and the similarity of target-masker sound is an important factor of cognitive and perceptual informational masking. The two kinds of sub-component are all sensitive to perceived spatial separation. The overall SNR under the same premise, with the increase of masker, the informational masking will increase in two kinds of sub-component.
