Yangko in China has a long history, is the most representative of the han nationality folk dance, is also a collection of song, dance, music, art, drama, literature more than one of the integrated arts. It not only has performing and view and admire a gender, but also has multiple functions more entertaining and body fitness. Since 1942, when MAO zedong’s speech on "yanan literature and art symposium" was published, the shensi-kansu-ningsia border region of a thriving mass "new yangge movement," yangko is endowed with new era spirit and content, this is the first milestone in the history of the development of modern yangko. Nearly four decades of reform and opening-up, people’s material and cultural life gradually towards the "well-off", mass yangko activities become more common, and promotes the professional yangge dance creation center of gravity to tilt, the emergence of a large number of yangko genre often give prize of excellent works, meanwhile yangko also entered a dance class, art college it was the second milestone in the history of the development of modern yangko. In this sense, the author will be located in a master’s degree thesis "the comparative study of five Da Yang Ge in north China" on this basis, not only has historical significance, but also has practical significance. Furthermore, as the dance education workers in colleges and universities, also has a responsibility and obligation to all-round deeply research of yangko art-- a national intangible cultural heritage.In the process of study, the macroscopic research and microscopic research overall consideration, as far as possible to multi-level and multi-angle, all-round to comparative study of five Da Yang Ge in north China, and find their commonness and individuality, pursuit the true, the theory of sublimation.
