A Brief Analysis On The Characteristic And The Main Aria "The Winner Takss Itall" Of Doma, The Heroine Of The Music Drama (Mamma Mia)

The music drama “mama mia” subtly combines modern music element with music drama, which makes it impossible to separate them. “The winner takes it all” is one of the 6 classic arias of heroine Donna, the rock style and rhythm of which invites the audiences wave and rock together. This thesis attempts to probe into Donna’s outlet of feeling and psychological activity, through understanding the creation background and the main story and analysing her roles from different scenes. Finally and additionally, it studies the singing and performance of Donna’s the most classic aria “the winner takes it all”, to recover the singing style of music drama of the time and provide value and help to other singers to perform the classic.
