This thesis regards the first handed datum in Q ing Xin vernacular, Q ingyuan C ity, Guangdong Province as the research object, at the same time refers to the other datum of Yue dialects and other related datum. We sum up the phonological feathers by depicting the sound system of different Yue dialects in Q ingxin. We also conclude processes and rules of the phonological evolution of Yue dialects in Q ingxin according to synchronic and diachronic comparisons.There are six chapters in this thesis.Chapter 1 is the introduction, including the Q ingxin human geography, the basic feathers of the dialect, a summary of the previous studies related, and the purpose, the research value, the methods and materials of the research.Chapter 2 is the voice system of the Yue dialects in Q ingxin, describing the feathers of initials, finals and tone, a comprehensive explosive of the Yue dialects in Qingxin general voice characteristics.Chapter 3 is voice consistency and differences of the Yue dialects in Q ingxin, through an interal comparison, summed extract the internal consistency and differences of the Yue dialects in Qingxin.Chapter 4,comparison between the Yue dialects in Q ingxin and Guangfu piece Cantonese(广府片粤语),from the point of view of the voice characteristics of combing the Yue dialects in Qingxin and Guangfu piece Cantonese clossness.Chapter 5 discuss some important phonological problems concerned with the Yue dialects in Q ingxin.We focus on four topics:the unaspirated pronunciation of voiced consonants of Middle Chinese,the changes of nasal endings and stop endings,the changes from Shang tone of stressed consonant(浊上)to Yinqu tone(阴去),the changes from yangping tone(阳平)to Yangqu tone(阳去).Chapter 6, the conclusion. It includes the summary of conclusions and the inadequacy of this thesis.
