The 1980 s witnessed the emerge of a large number of outstanding Canadian Chinese writers. Their works promote the development of overseas Chinese literature. Canada’s unique national conditions and multi-cultural policy created the Canadian Chinese writers’ open and calm attitude which we can grasp in their works of "next generation" images and issues. Also, they clearly described ethnic cultural identity hybrid symbiotic picture. Their attention of the "next generation" also shows in the context of globalization in which new immigrant groups explore the future of a nation. This paper aims to research the new immigrants of Chinese novels, with the "next generation" as its angle which few people pay attention to. Based on narrative text, the new criticism and post colonialism theory of literary criticism, this paper combs the written type of the novel appeared in the "next generation" and analyze the narrative features and the new change of the written explanation, exploring the new immigrant writers in Canada under the multi-cultural context. We want to get insight into the identity and new thinking and find out the chance hidden behind the text construction of the future with the goal of further expanding the overseas Chinese literature research field.
