Research On Information Visualization Design In The Application Of Shanghai City Public Transport Information Dissemination

Information resources is one of the most important resource of modern society. Dig the inherent value of public information resources to achieve universal access to public information is an important part of the smart city construction. In recent years, with the level of information management of city public transportation continues to improve, dissemination mode of city public transport information has shown a trend of diversification, but it still exists some problems such as single pattern, content orphaned, updating lag and other issues. Information visualization design as an approach to make information more valuable and improvable has opened up a new way for dissemination of city public transport information.Information visualization design change boring data into an intuitive graphical images, so as to help people quickly focus in each abstract data extracted valuable information and explore the links between them. The information visualization designed for city public transport information released, not only can improve the efficiency of public access to information on public transport, but also provide a basis for decision making for the government to manage public transport.This article studies on city public transport information visualization model through analyzing theory of information visualization and general model.Choose Shanghai as an example to design, from the needs of the system, using public transport hub in Shanghai d3.js traffic distribution of chord, visual design force map on the Web platform, combined with an open map API to the district traffic police in Shanghai distribution of heat map visualization, and the use of Ajax technology to solve the problem more collaborative view.Usability testing methods based on the use of effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of the Shanghai Public Transportation Information Dissemination System availability analysis, experimental results show that visual public transport information relative to the traditional way of public transportation information release can really enhance the user’s awareness efficiency and user satisfaction.In summary, information visualization design in city public transport information in the publication, for the promotion of city information technology plays an important role. It broke through the barriers of traditional city public information transmission methods, effectively improve the efficiency and user experience in obtaining information, and for the dissemination and sharing of public information in different areas of the future opens up new roads.
