The Ethical Examination Of Scientific And Technological Personnels

The technological practices of scientific and technological personnels are closely related to people’s benefit and life safety. Accordingly, to scientific and technological personnels, cultivation of ethic thought is the indispensable basic quality. Studying how to solve scientific and technological personnels’ethical issues is conducive to the improvement of scientific and technological talents’ quality in China as well as the development of scientific and technological ethics, and it’s not only the inevitable requirement of people to strive for a harmonious society, but also the important way to make sure science and technology bring benefit to human beings.The article consists of three parts.To begin with, it introduces the contents and necessity for the research related about scientific and technological personnels’ethics, whose connotation is the principles and norms adjusting value relation and behavioral pattern within the scientific community. There are two ethical principles of scientific and technological personnels——seeking the truth and serving human beings, at the same time, the four ethical norms exist with the principles——devoting in science and innovating bravely, competing fairly with honesty, respecting for talents corporately and harmoniously, treasuring resources and serving the society. Furthermore, the research will contribute to solve scientific and technological personnels’internal ethical issues, as well as deepen the sense of moral responsibility and value orientation for science and technology, natural environment, human development and even the whole society.Then focus on what the scientific and technological personnels do in wrong ways going against their ethical principles and norms without responsibilities. Based on the subjective factors and the objective factors with emphasis, such as their professional quality, the affordability of responsibility and the external environment of nature and society, this section pays attention to the the pressure of market competition and people’s desire for the benefits; the multiple roles of scientific and technological personnels in the complex scientific activities; and the lack of social ethics and moral education of science and technology. In the end, the part grasps the essence of the reasons why they do something wrong in the concrete work, such as selling counterfeit goods, misconducting in academic activities, wasting resources, threating the society, sticking backward or using new technologies blindly and so on, that is about the alienation of human beings themselves and their values in the deep.The last part concentrates on finding the solutions to the problems above. Through linking history to logic and the study of relevant literature information, it can come down to the external surroundings and legal system of science in institution, in the meanwhile, adding to the traditional culture’s effects in education level, and the most significant method is to achieve self-discipline consciousness and moral self-consciousness themselves through many heteronomous ways, striving for a careful and deep thinking.When it comes to the ethical examination of scientific and technological personnels, it should be based on the literatures review and comprehending, linking history to logic, trying to solve the problems of scientific and technological personnels’ethics more objectively, truly and accurately. So that the fountainhead can be found finally. However, conducting the research of scientific and technological personnels’ethics covers many subjects, such as science and technology, human resource, ethics and sociology and so on. In addition, how to be leaded by the world outlook and methodology of Marxist philosophy, mix different subjects well and construct ethical system of scientific and technological personnels with Chinese characteristics needs to be further studied and improved.
