Translation Comparison Of Shelley’s Poetry

In this paper, the main research is Shelley’s poetry translation in China. The poetry of Shelley is very unique in form, phonological effect and image. It is very practical value for a research on Shelley’s poetry translation for foreign poems’ translation. The paper mainly divides into five chapters. The first chapter of this paper introduces Shelley’s academic life and the reception of Shelley’s poetry translation in China. Then in the second chapter, the paper introduces the main translator of Shelley’s poetry in China and their translation theory. In the third part, this paper takes the specific text as an example, from the rhythm, the rhyme, language features, translation of literary allusions, artistic conception and other aspects of Shelley’s Chinese versions poems characteristics, through the comparison of those characteristics, get the difference eventually. Then in the fifth chapter, we talk about the comparison of the re-creation in translators’translation process. Finally, the summary and conclusion of this paper. I hope this paper can provide references and further level improve of English poetry translation, and it can make contributions to the cross-cultural communication in further time.
