Way Of Running A State Expressed By The Bamboo Slips Of Guodian

Guodian Chu bamboo slips are historical relics during the warring states period which found at Guodian no.l tomb in Hubei province,Jingmen city,Shayang district,Sifang town in October,1993.They consist of Confucian works and Taoist works.There are 14 essays for Confucian works which can be divided into 11 kinds.They are 《Ziyi》 《Lumugong wen Zisi》 《Qiongdayishi》 《Wuxing》 《angyuzhidao》《Zhongxinzhidao》 《Chengzhiwenzhi》 《undeyi)) ((Xingzimingchu)》《Liude》 《Yucong》(4 essays).The academic circles were relatively weak in the sphere of political thought,especially from the perspective of administering a country in the past.This thesis does systematic research on the thought of statecraft for Guodian Chu bamboo slips and the Pre-Qin Period Confucian by drawing lessons from previous documents and research findings.This thesis concludes the statecraft for Guodian Chu bamboo slips into 4 aspects.They are rule of virtue,people as foundation,abdication and respect the worthy,loyalty and faith.The thoughts of statecraft during the Pre-Qin Period Confucian in the previous documents mainly include 5 aspects.They are virtue and courtesy first,torture and punishment second;self-control and self-cultivation;promote the worthy;people as foundation;policy of benevolence.This thesis discusses it in detail.This thesis adopts comparison as the main research method.lt compares thought of statecraft with previous documents and analyses the contribution.At the same time,it studies the influence on Confucian statecraft thoughts and it shows the atmosphere of the political thoughts during the warring states period.
