An Explanation Of The Words And Words In Guodian Chu Bamboo Slips "Tai Yi Yi Shui"

Since the 1970s,Archaeological activities in our country has excavated a large number of bamboo slip and silk Taoist documents-The discovery of The Great One Begot Water in Bamboo Slips of Guodian tomb of Chu has brought unprecedented new materials to the study of the mysterious philosophical term "The Great One".There are 14 bamboo slips in existence now,among which 7 slips are damaged.Including 284 visible characters,12 repeated characters,10 combined characters,7 omissive characters,incomplete content is about 27 characters.It is an important philosophical work in the middle and late Warring States Period,with clear characters and high research value.However,as there is no literature handed on from ancient times to compare,bamboo slips are not well preserved,and the content of the paper is short and abstract,many characters did not seen in traditional Chinese dictionary,and it is difficult to guess their pronunciation and meaning.For this reason,scholars have expressed their opinions and thoughts about the content of The Great One Begot Water.A large number of related academic achievements have been scattered in newspapers and magazines,but few of them have carried out integrated research.Based on the interpretation given by Jingmen Museum,this paper sets out all kinds of opinions from various sources,collects and explains the annotated results of The Great One Begot Water from the date of its publication to the end of 2018,so as to fully reflect the current academic research on this work.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the discovery situation and basic shape of bamboo slips,discusses the research status of The Great One Begot Water,and points out the significance of this topic.The second chapter is the main body of the article.After collecting and sorting out the comments on the interpretation of the book,materials have been studied,the important viewpoints and justifications of the article have been extracts and classifies according to topics.Then,different views on the same issue are sorted out,and the general ideas of scholars’ discussions are grasped in accordance with the chronological sequence.The issues with many differences would divided into different parts for the convenience of readers.At last,the character or sentence pattern in the work have been compared and distinguished with relevant materials,after carefully consider the viewpoints recorded,then put forward my own opinions on different viewpoints.In chapter three,we discussed the valuable problems in The Great One Begot Water,analyzes three different patterns of the character "一" in Bamboo Slips of Guodian tomb of Chu from the perspective of meaning and usage.This paper focuses on demonstration and objective point of view,hoping to provide some basal and material reference for the study of Chu characters.
