This paper noted the contemporary writing on the redress grievance which followed the writing tradition of previous generation, tried hard to explore contemporary writers who write for a redress of grievance innovation and transformation, showed the characteristics of the contemporary era redress grievance writing. This paper was divided into three chapters, respectively, from the type of grievances, aesthetic value of the redressing grievance tragedy, the change in contemporary writing.The first chapter break the existing convention that divided only by a factor, according to the causes, the object of redressing grievance, the means of redress grievance, the purpose of redress grievance, divided into four types: family violence, personal petition, self-destructive,and political vindication. Red Flag, Old Ship, White Deer Plain are the novels which have the features of family narrative, plus the background of the novel, making redress grievance writing into a complicated plot including the family and class struggle. Petition style described mainly from Li Xuelian and Qiu Ju. Self-destructive style described by the way of suicide to redress grievance. Political vindication, a record crowd for a particular age-specific patterns of redress injustice.The second chapter, based on the Western theory in tragedy, pointed tragedy connotation, combined with the specific works and avenged the tragic fate into the tragedy of society and fate, the tragedy of the personality. And proved the aesthetic value of redress grievance,pleasure from the tragedy,which related to moral sympathy and aesthetic sympathy.The third chapter describes the new contemporary transformation of the characters, which contained the subject and object of redress grievance at first. Second, the contemporary transformation of the means of redress, contemporary writers noted the enhanced role of public opinion in the novel. Third, the contemporary transformation of the purpose, being more complicated, with the mocking expression in redressing grievance.
