Shamanism Culture And Northeast Writers’ Fiction Creation

Northeast writers refers to a group of literature youth who exiled from the northeast to the inside shanhaiguan after Mukden Incident. Promoted by the left-wing literature, they begin to create the Anti-Japanese War Literature spontaneously, and become well-known to the literary world for their description of miserable lives and hard struggle of the northeast people in the Occupied Area.As an unshaped potential genre,without a unified publication or even writing aims, they exist uniquely in Chinese modern literature,for the reason that their works similarly reflects people’s hard lives in the northeast under the aggression of Japan, also acts as the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War Literature. What’s more,bold and rough style and distinct folklore descriptions in works reveal a kind of rich regional culture.Shaman culture, the basis of the regional culture in the northeast,possesses a long history and solid mass base. With time going by,Shaman Culture goes downhill and blends in daily life.Influenced by it, Northeast writers show a peculiarity not only in the field of individual characteristics,but in creating process. Based on the inside shanhaiguan literature,the peculiarity is a heterogeneous factor,which coverges Northeast writers in return. Therefore,Northeast writers becomes the grapher of Shaman Culture,while Shaman Culture provides a rich cultural deposits for them.Putting regional culture as a starting point,the thesis breaks the research limits of local literature and the Left-wing Literature in the past,in order to deeply analyze the works of Northeast writers from the perspective of Shaman culture. Inspired by predecessors, the thesis integrates the relating theoretical research,and blends the spirit of Shaman culture in concrete analyses of the works. Owing to wide involvement of it,those writers’ creating process is impacted a lot in all aspects. As a result,when in discussion,the author does the research from some specific points, such as, the thematic constitution,the artistic pursuit and the significance of literary history. The thesis has been divided into three parts: the first part, taking animism, hero worship and revanchism into consideration, the author explores the origins revolutionary tendencies and rebellious spirits in Northeast writers, away from shackles of the pure Left-wing Literature. In the second part, the author brings the spirits of Shaman culture into the aesthetic category, and combines theories and texts extracted, to confirm masculine vigorousness and a feeling of indignance. In the last, combining Northeast writers with the time they lived, the author analyzes their complexity and contradictory writing minds objectively, clarifies their historical contribution to era development,to the rebuilding of local memories and to the reconstruction of natural culture.
