| Children picture books are special kind of book, and through those books we can conduct ideological exchange, culture accumulation and spread knowledge. They had caused a sensation back in 18 centuries. In the late 20 th century, “early reading” and “early education” emerged as we entered “image times”. Even today, creation and value have aroused society’s widespread interest. With the continuous interaction in modern technology and multi-culture, the way of expression and function tend to be unique and various. Children picture books, flourished in numbers and forms, play an indispensable role in the implementation of quality education. Childhood is the most basic phase in their growth and books are the nourishment for children. In different types of books, children picture books would be more suitable to their reading habits and the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development. Picture books encapsulated seamless integration of two ways of artistic expression. The distinctive characteristics of picture books are made up with wide range of subjects, interesting content, visual language and different formats. So children can not only gain knowledge but also improve aesthetic interest. Picture books have done more to educate children than anything in their growth. Through literature research, empirical study,questionnaire survey method, interdisciplinary research method,experience summary method,exploratory demonstration method, mathematical calculation method, application in preschoolers from 0 to 6 and the impact on those preschoolers, we can tease the development of picture books at home and abroad. Combining a series of characteristics and expressive technique, this article analyzes the writing and painting, and induces influence of good habits’ development. It also spells out the significance of physical and natural health. The children picture books play an essential role in early reading idea, early education, mental characters and lifelong education acceptance. |
