The Music Image And The Aria Analysis Of Mulan In Scene Symphony Opera "Mulan Poem"

Chinese opera has successfully experiences of the western opera for nearly a hundred years, in the process of development, numerous literary and art workers dedicated themselves in the development and innovation of opera. In 2004 the scenario symphonic opera "Mulan poem" was born, it is creative interpretation from the ancient theme, composer Liu Lin and writer Guan Xia added the peaceful spirit idea in the traditional spirit of patriotism, show Chinese people’s good wishes for the love of life, and cherish of peace in the new century, this is the inheritance and sublimation to original works, also is the reason that scene Symphony opera "Mulan Poem" received wide acclaim at home and abroad and had numerous performances for more than ten years. The research direction of the writer is learning the art of vocal music performance, not only studied the vocal music singing, but also analyzed all kinds of vocal music works; not only held master’s graduated vocal solo concert but also prepare the master’s writing, so I choose "Mulan Poem" as my key point of thesis writing.The full paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an overview of the scenario Symphonic opera "Mulan Poem". Mainly introduced from three aspects of concept, the scenario Symphonic opera’s creation background, plot outline and main character Archetype Analysis, show the Chinese national outstanding representative-Mulan clearly to the reader. The second chapter to the fourth chapter is the main part of the paper. Respectively expounds the music characteristics and Mulan’s stage image interpretation of "Mulan Poem", and selects four different kinds of classical songs to have analysis, explain the life story of Mulan by three aspects:emotion trend, musical form and singing methods. It is pointed out that the contribution and Enlightenment of this opera to the future opera development. This chapter is extracting the innovation essence from combining the previous studies of the opera creation, hope to provide a reference for the future development of China national opera.When the author is collecting data, watching opera video, writing papers, In the second and fourth chapters, using the theory and practice of music, history and culture analysis the protagonist’s musical image and the opera’s contribution and inspiration. In the first and third chapters,applied comparative research methods, summarized method,logical method, literature analysis, vocal music work analysis method etc, tried to treat the creation and development of "Mulan Poem" with an open, comprehensive and multilevel visual, conscientiously sum up the creation and development, to identify shortcomings and the ways to make up for obtaining a new direction and a new breakthrough of Chinese opera development.
