The Compare Of The Chinese And Japanese Roof Tiles Production During The 6～9 Century

In this article, we based on the archaeological excavation related information of Sui-Tang Luoyang City, the capital of sites and ruins roof-tiles kilns were analyzed and the capital city ruins and brick kiln site unearthed tile data were studied. In order to build and repair Sui and Tang dynasties of Luoyang, brick kiln and other building materials would be used a lot, so in the Capital City, Miyagi, Imperial Palace, there would be many brick kiln. For research the brick kiln unearthed relic, we can understand the situation of tile site at that time. Especially, studies brick kilns tile site unearthed ancient material, we also can know the relationship between the brick kiln and the Capital City, Miyagi, Imperial Palace of that time. For further study the brick manufacturing organization of Sui-Tang dynasties of Luoyang city.Sui and Tang dynasties frequent exchanges between China and Japan, In order to further understand the similarities and differences in that period in the capital city to building tile system and comparison between China and Japan, In this paper, we also introduced with roughly the same or close the capital of tile system between Fujiwara and Pyongsong in Japan.due to the generally accepted Pyongsong with Chinese Sui and Tang dynasties roughly the same age of Japan is from China Chang’an and Luoyang city to build design. In this article we mainly introduced the making tile system in Pyongsong in Japan and compared making system with Sui and Tang dynasties of Luoyang. To better understand the building kiln system development process the Capital of Japan, we also introduced Fujiwara tile system before introducing Pyongsong.The first chapter is to review the research history of the ancient roof-tiles and the Sui-Tang Luoyang city,introduce the purposes and methods of the research,based on knowledges and methods form predecessors researching.Among which,Japanese researchers’object wasn’t Chinese roof-tiles production but Japanese roof-tiles production,it seems has nothing to do with this article,but has anything to do with roof-tiles,especially it’s basis theory and research method about roof-tiles production is worth learning.Information about the Sui-Tang Luoyang city is mainly form the articles about roof-tile kiln or roof-tile production.Although it doesn’t mentions to the organization directly,but the plenty of researches about the Sui-Tang Luoyang city,has important effection either this article or future researches.The second chapter is to introduce the roof-tile producting data for Sui-Tang Luoyang city.First,it illustrates the basis kiln distribution and kiln form situation of Sui-Tang Luoyang city.Then,based on them,this article introduces some sites of Sui-Tang Luoyang city which excavated brick and roof-tiles recent years, besides,simplely about emblazonry of the brick and roof-tiles which excavated.The brick and roof-tiles kiln of Sui-Tang Luoyang city distributed everywhere in the city,some of them even in the palace.Generally speaking, kilns in the palace always setted for producing or repairing buildings of the palace,for it can be easily to control and manage.,and nearer from where it be used.The kilns outside the city maybe considered easy to get soil and convient for workers life.Recent years,sites of Sui-Tang Luoyang city which be excaved eaves tile and figure bricks,mostliy are the gate sites and palace buildings,but most of the general residents were not using that.The third chapter explains and analysis roof-tile production of the Sui-Tang Luoyang city on the base of knowing it’s data above. The relationship which between the kilns and the sites,in fact is the relationship between the producer and the user,and constracting the aspect of the Sui-Tang Luoyang city,knowing one side of the city’s social condition.When building the city,the supply of the bricks and roof-tiles must has it’s track,there are three ways introduced in this article.The forth chapter is the aim of this article,comparing the roof-tiles production of Chinese and Japanese capital during the 6 to 9 Century.In this article,it’s comparing the Sui-Tang Luoyang city with Fujiwara Capital and Heijo Capital in Japan which introduced above. The Sui-Tang Luoyang city is the second capital of Sui-Tang Dynasty which is Chinese feudal period’s golden age.The Heijo Capital in Japan is also the second capital from Japan fixed it’s capital,which behind the Fujiwara Capital.It’s has no doubt that Chinese ancient capital constraction effects Japanese capital,but there are some differents between them.Upon present data,we consider that there are both similarities and differences between the Sui-Tang Luoyang city and the Heijo capital in roof-tile product system.
