Studies On The “Tuanjie Words”of Mianning County In Sichuan Province

"Tuanjie Words" is a kind of language variant produced in the process of the Yi people in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture Sichuan province learning Chinese around them.But they can’t escape from the heavy "Yi Accent "(Yi language accent). "Tuanjie Words" is a language variant with significant difference from the local Chinese dialect. It is a kind of special language phenomenon that Yi people who grasp Chinese dialects basically and be unable to get rid of the stubborn influence of mother tongue. It is also the product of language contact in Minority areas."Tuanjie Words" in Mianning county is a language variant that the Liangshan Yi Nationality in Mianning county used in social interaction, especially in dealings with the Han around them. It is an interlanguage between Yi language and Chinese dialects in Mianning.It is also a particular dynamic intermediate form that the ethnic mother tongue influenced by the strong language Chinese dialect and gradually transition to the strong language. It has its own set of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar rules, the language system also has its own independence.In this paper, we take the youth stage of Mianning "Tuanjie Words" as the example.We have a deep research in the two levels of spoken and written language system on the system of this special language variant’s pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. The methods we use are fieldwork, experimental phonetics, comparative studies and statistical research methods. At the same time, we compare the language system of Mianning "Tuanjie Words" with the native Liangshan-Yi language and the target language-Chinese dialects in Mianning, carry out a detailed comparative analysis,describe its characteristics. Meanwhile,we also analyze the errors on the Yi Students in Mianning County who learned Chinese, and put forward the coping strategies.To sum up, we believe Mianning "Tuanjie Words" is not a simple imitation of the local Chinese dialect.It selectively absorbs part of the target language rules of Chinese dialects in Mianning. As a whole is to fellow Yi communication requires a very unique process resulting in the Chinese language acquisition variants.Overall it is a very unique language variant produced in the process of the Yi compatriots learning Chinese for the communication needs.
