The Study Of Richard Strauss’ Symphonic Poem <Ein Heldenleben>

Symphonic poem is a typical of the late romantic music genre, and as a product of his creative peak period, Richard Strauss’ symphonic poem "Ein Heldenleben", has a high representative. Due to the similar age makes the study of the work is not as rich and thorough as the research of the works in the earlier age, many viewpoints and conclusions still need further discussion and explore. But influenced by the popular belief, it has a lot of limitations in the keynote understanding of the works.This paper begins from the music genre perspective, combining the basic essentials of literary, explained the content of the work. And then re-interpret the content of the works by founding the detail in the changes of dominant motivation. In the second chapter, it starting with the basic elements of music, find how to make the whole work from a basic point. The third chapter of this paper is a detailed analysis of the structure of the symphonic poem, and as summary of it, the fourth chapter explains the works in the form structure and techniques, the content of literature and Philosophy, and made existing research results there are differences in opinions and discussed.The first aim of this paper is through the summary of the analysis, find out the development trend of music in the late of the romantic, and through the comparison and understanding, to master the skills in music writing. The second aim is the hope that through the point of view put forward and up, to make a basic understanding of the work, at the same time, in order to through the further discussion, to explore it deeper.
