This thesis focused on tone poem "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (op.30) written by German's composer Richard Strauss in later romantic period. Based on analyzing each basic structural elements within this work, the author summarized phenomenon of structure, discussed structural phenomenon and then achieved a grasp of structural thinking of entire works. By observing historical and cultural background of the era when Richard Strauss was in, Author explored the root of formation of musical structure of this thesis.This paper explored language environment of the object of study, musician himself and typical works from cultural character to the category of music itself, combined with concrete analysis of music with object of study and achieved author's own conclusion from the phenomenon of mingle structure within tone poem "Also Sprach Zarathustra"written by Richard Strauss.This paper also involved the observation of the historical and cultural background of the era when Richard Strauss was in, explored the influence on the formation of this special musical language and musical format which matches with his musical concept of the musician. Beyond above study, author further researched the diversity and the thesis's roots of the shapes of musical structure reflected by the works.
