A Study On Ecological Ethics Thoughts Of Pre-Qin Taosit

Ecological ethics thoughts produce in the flourishing of ecological environment protection, which is the ethical appeal of human facing the current increasingly serious ecological environment problems and a kind of new world outlook and values. The thoughts are positive significant for us to recognize and solve the global ecological environment problems. But this is not western the theoretical circle’s original creation, Chinese traditional cultures, especially Pre-Qin Taoist contains rich and deep ecological ethics thoughts. Revealing and studying the ecological wisdom and valuable elements of Pre-Qin Taoist ecological ethics thoughts can not only inherit and carry forward the Taoism tradition and theoretical results, also help to broaden and enrich China’s ecological ethics. It is very significant and valuable for the construction of environmental ethics thought with Chinese characteristics, and it can provide the enlightenment and guidance for the solution of ecological crisis to reflect on and improve the purpose of the relationship between human and nature.This article is mainly divided into three parts to detailed discuss the ecological ethics thoughts of the Pre-Qin Taoist:The first part mainly analyzes the philosophical foundation of the Pre-Qin Taoist ecological ethics thought. Starting from the basic concept of Taoist thought ——"Tao", it analyses that Tao is the ultimate reality in the universe and follows the law of its own development, finally the human should pursue the ideal of "the unity of heaven and humanity".The second part mainly states the main contents, compared with modern western ecological ethics thoughts of holism:the holism of "nature and human are unity"and the ecological equality of "the things are equal". In the Taosit thought, the whole nature is an organic unity and the things in the universe are equal, so the human have a duty to the nature. In order to maintain the harmonious and unified relationship between human and nature, human should pursue ecological morality of "no hurting anything" and ecological moral realm of "natural inaction". We should have a correct understanding of the nature, and develop and utilize nature rationally.The third part is to study its relationship with the pursuit of sustainable development and the harmonious development between human and environment in modern society,based on the basis of scientific analysis and understanding.
