| Rodin, the famous aesthetic master, once said: "the so-called master, is such a person, they use their eyes to see what others have seen, on what others are common to find out beauty", "life is not without beauty, but a lack of eyes to find beauty". His brilliant discourse shows that, if we want to be a master of art, we must have the excellent aesthetic ability to discover the beauty at first. The author draws inspiration from Rodin’s discourse. Aiming at recognizing and understanding beauty, she absorbs the nutrition from nature, and extracts the essence. In other words, conceive artistic works, breed beauty, and create beauty on the basis of observing life. From the perspective of painting, there are many ways to show the scenery of many, and there are also many excellent and typical works in different types of painting. People’s thirst for natural beauty and love for nature, has created countless works which praising the nature and showing natural beauty. Among these works, watercolor has occupied a special position due to its lively and vivid style. Especially in landscape painting and creation, because of its unique characteristics,watercolor has more advantages than other types of painting in being true to lives and catching the changes of nature. Having going out for sketching many times during the period of university and graduate, I have experienced that landscape sketching in watercolor is an effective means and a good form to feel life, go deep into life and record life. |
