On The Aesthetics And Performance Of Imagery Oil Painting In Modern China

Nationalization of imagery oil painting is conducive to the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese painting and also helpful to Chinese painting to enter the international market and win international influence. In this paper,we backtrack to the history and nature of painting,and clarified the connotation of Chinese imagery oil painting. It is a type of oil painting which inherits the Chinese way of thinking and reflects Chinese people’s the inner world,rather than simply grafting techniques of traditional painting or just add some Chinese elements. It is ideograph first, Tao follows nature, moderate coloring, ability to habitat and visit that makes up the aesthetics and performance of imagery oil painting. Imagery oil painting focuses on ideograph; drawing the Chinese way of thinking; breaking the barriers when using colors and serving for ideograph; and creating a painting habitable and travelable. In the author’s graduation creation, continued the analysis above, trying to draw a picture which accords to the Chinese people’s way of thinking, and wealthy of Chinese manner.
