Chinese Physics Research (1932-1936)

Chinese Physical Society is a non-governmental scientific society organizations which was founded in August 1932 at Tsinghua University. After the Chinese Physical Society was established, based on the the purpose"Assist the progressive and popular plan of Physics ",on the one hand it carry out various academic activities, such as organizing the annual meeting, reviewing the terms of physics, public-ate Chinese Journal of Physics, studying physical education, international academic exchanges and other activities to promote physics research and teaching career development of China, with a milestone in the history of the development of physics.On the other hand it participated in and contributed to the weights and Measures Act reform of the national government, making the universal Chinese name system in the academic community obtain legal status and can be used with the standard Chinese name system set up by the National Government.
