The Research On Folk Belief Of Diversity Symbiosis In Guangxi Since The Ming And Qing Dynasty In The Area Of Yu Jiang

The Folk Belief is a social cultural phenomenon with sustainability and characteristic. Since the 1980s, with the freedom of the state’s political environment and the development of social economy,development of folk belief has once again become the focus of people and society.This paper based on the related folk belief of documents, using local chronicles and the field visits data, to research on Folk Belief of multiculturalism in Guangxi since the Ming and Qing Dynasty in the area of Yu Jiang, in order to restore the folk belief in the importance of folk society. Through the analysis of the government and the public to play in the development of folk beliefs in the process of role,forming the correct and objective of understanding to folk belief.to provide a reference for the development of the local folk culture and the protection of intangible cultural heritage.This paper is divided into five parts:Part one is introduction the various methods in God’s species from the former studying, on the basis of its put forward opinion which according the function of the God divide the type. The gods of the Yu Jiang River Basin area is divided into five categories:God of geographical environment,personal destiny God,population protection God,groups tutelary God,transverse study the development situation of folk belief in the area of Yu Jiang.Part two is using forms.numbers and literature to longitudinal study the development of folk belief in the area of Yu Jiang.Discussion since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the folk beliefs of the Yu Jiang River Basin symbiosis has experienced prosperity, decline, the twists and turns in three different periods of history, analysis of the causes of the evolution of folk beliefs in different periods and the characteristics of the present.Part three is pointed out that the three forms of folk belief of multiculturalism in the area Yu Jiang.Part four is from four aspects about the migration of population,geographical factors, social environment and systematized religion to discusses the Yu Jiang River Basin symbiosis folk belief formation of natural conditions and cultural background. Firstly, requent migration is beneficial to the diffusion of elements of folk beliefs in time and space. Secondly, geographical factors and social environment have a significant impact on the size and type of folk beliefs development. Finally, injecting religious factors make the development of folk beliefs tend to be more diversified and flexible.Part five is explain two basic forces to promote the development of the folk belief in the Yu Jiang River Basin:the government intervention and public participation.The official purpose for the maintenance of the interests of the ruling class, adopting administrative power to fight against illegal worship guarantee the orthodoxy or to support the folk beliefs in order to consolidate the local order.And the construction of the people to be on the folk belief, folk belief is the survival and development provide a profound social soil.
