| Chinese people have a long-standing belief in dragon.As early as in the period of Longshan Culture in primitive society,dragon shaped jades appeared.From primitive totem worship to auspicious beast mainly responsible for rainfall,and then to the personified image of gods,the belief of Dragon God in China has undergone a long change.Since the Tang and Song Dynasties,with the conferment of titles on many dragon gods and their incorporation into the national sacrificial rites,the belief in Dragon God has become more and more popular,which is rare when the belief in personality God is the mainstream.This trend continued to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.From the perspective of Shandong Dragon God belief in Ming and Qing Dynasties,this paper mainly discusses the development of Dragon God belief in Shandong,including its rising background and temple construction,summarizes the characteristics of Shandong Dragon God belief in Ming and Qing Dynasties,and discusses the social impact of the belief.The details are as follows:Firstly,it introduces the general situation of Dragon God belief before Ming Dynasty.This paper focuses on the development and evolution of the Dragon God belief,and points out that from the pre Qin period,as a totem worship,the embryonic form of the Dragon God belief appeared.In the Qin and Han Dynasties,with the finalization of the basic form of "Dragon God",the Dragon God belief appeared on the common people’s stage.In the Tang and Song Dynasties,the Dragon God belief gradually moved from folk worship to imperial edict,and its status was increasing.Secondly,it expounds the background of the prosperity of Shandong Dragon God belief in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Starting from the three aspects of economy,nature and society,this paper explores the reasons why the Dragon God belief flourished in Shandong during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and points out that the contradiction between man and land,climate change,shipping and other factors have an important impact on the Dragon God belief.Thirdly,the general situation of the construction of the temple of Dragon God in Shandong Province in Ming and Qing Dynasties is analyzed.This paper analyzes the historical materials of the construction of Dragon God Temple in Shandong local records in Ming and Qing Dynasties.On this basis,it is divided into five regions,namely East Shandong,Middle Shandong,West Shandong,South Shandong and North Shandong.The paper analyzes the conditions of the construction and worship of Dragon God temple in various regions in detail.By comparing the quantity differences of temples in different regions,the factors affecting its distribution are investigated.Fourthly,it discusses the characteristics of Shandong Dragon God belief in Ming and Qing Dynasties.This paper describes the image characteristics of natural God and personality God in Shandong Dragon God belief in the Ming and Qing Dynasties with specific examples.It focuses on the personality characteristics of Dragon God.The theocratic Dragon God plays an important role in the benign interaction between the state and society.Under the dual role of the state and society,the image of Dragon God changes from ordinary to holy.Finally,the author summarizes the influence of Shandong Dragon God belief in Ming and Qing Dynasties.This paper studies the inscriptions about Shandong dragon god in Ming and Qing Dynasties.From the perspective of the state and the people,it analyzes the influence of Dragon God belief.For the government,on the one hand,it is conducive to civilizing the people,on the other hand,it is conducive to national rule.For the people,on the one hand,it releases the pressure of busy farming,on the other hand,it is the psychological dependence.However,both the state and the people have positive and negative influences on the worship of Dragon God. |
