With the further development of globalization, the distance between countries is less father than before, and the communication is becoming more and more intimate nowadays. The western cultures are flooding into our nation, so the crash and mix of multiculture is not only an opportunity, but also a tremendous challenge for our nation’s construction of mainstream ideology. Under the new historical background, it is of great significance for our nation’s socialist modernization to study that how to defend and consolidate the leading position of Marxism by permeating our nation’s mainstream ideology and how to develop the solidarity of our nation.Firstly, the author studied and explained the relevant researches on the concepts and the nature of ideology, and then pointed out the crash of multiculture to our nation’s construction of mainstream ideology and the necessity of the construction about the harmonious of the multiculture and our ideology.
